Kimi Antonelli has responded with humour after Kim Kardashian was criticised for appearing to use his towel at the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix.
The 45-year-old reality television star was filmed picking up a towel from a number one-marked plinth that had been reserved for Antonelli following his fifth consecutive victory for Mercedes.
She then appeared to wipe her sunglasses with the towel as she walked through the paddock, prompting criticism from F1 fans on social media.

Antonelli and team-mate George Russell later posted a light-hearted video on the Mercedes F1 page that poked fun at the incident.
In the clip, Antonelli is shown sitting in deep contemplation before asking the camera person, “I was wondering, have you seen my towel?”
The cameraman then asks George Russell if he has seen the towel, to which he replies, “No.” Antonelli appears again, washing his hands, and asks, “Hey, have you seen my towel?”
The video was shared as the discussion continues over the presence of celebrities in the paddock.
One fan wrote on X, “Imagine getting your first Monaco podium and immediately losing your towel to Kim Kardashian,” while another commented, “Get these celebs out of the sport, man…”.
Kardashian was later seen spraying champagne with her boyfriend, Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton, who finished second at Monaco. Formula One will next travel to Spain for the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix on Sunday, June 14.
