This weekend, fans can meet Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon and Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson in Hollywood, but Mama June won’t be going with them.
The 22-year-old “Mama June: Road to Redemption” actor shared the official poster for her meet and greet with her younger sister and the rest of her family on Instagram on Wednesday.
“Come and see your idols! Meet & Greet with Alana Thompson a.k.a. Honey Boo Boo, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin,’ Josh and family [on] Sunday, July 10th at Hollywood Burger 6250 Hollywood Blvd., West Hollywood, [California], from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.,” the poster read.
Additionally, the promotional materials said that the event’s tickets start at $25. The family will be available for fans to pose for pictures and sign autographs. The location will also sell their official merchandise.
“Y’all come out this Sunday to meet us and hang with the family. … We can’t wait to see everyone,” Pumpkin captioned her post.
Comments from followers expressing excitement for the event rapidly filled Pumpkin’s post. Many people expressed a wish for the reality family to visit their region.
“Got my tickets!!! Can’t wait! My daughter is going to be soooo happy,” one wrote.
“We are coming!!!! So excited,” another added.
“Oh my god, how I wish … but I’m sure you guys will make it to New York one day… I’ll [definitely] be at that one,” a third user commented.
“Please come to New York. Would love to meet [you],” a different user stated.
In addition to Alana, Pumpkin, and Josh’s children, Ella Grace, age 4, Bentley Jameson, age 1, and their new twins Sylus Ray and Stella Renae will also attend, according to the official event description posted on Eventbrite.
As per Ibtimes, the meet and greet will also feature Dralin Carswell, 20, Alana’s boyfriend, who made his small-screen debut in the current season of “Mama June: Road to Redemption.”
The youngest June daughter made news last month for wearing a diamond sparkler on her left ring finger. It was claimed that the 16-year-old secretly got engaged to her older boyfriend.
The former “Toddlers & Tiaras” star, however, soon dispelled the rumours, claiming that her new adornment was “just a ring” and not an engagement band.
No explanation is given as to why Mama June won’t be attending the fan gathering with her daughters, but it is worth noting that she recently lost custody of Honey Boo Boo after a Georgia judge granted Pumpkin exclusive custody of her younger sister.
