Fox News host Sean Hannity delivered a scathing critique of the recent ABC presidential debate on his show Hannity, accusing the network of overt left-wing bias in favor of Kamala Harris. Hannity claimed the debate, hosted by ABC-Disney, served as a disguised campaign boost for Harris, who he says was given preferential treatment.

“ABC-Disney, they want Kamala Harris to be elected. That was very clear last night,” Hannity declared, calling the debate a display of bias unlike anything he had ever seen in a presidential debate.

Hannity took issue with the moderators for failing to press Harris on her policy inconsistencies and evasive answers. He described their performance as “the most overt, sickening display of left-wing bias” he had ever witnessed, pointing out that Harris was not confronted about any of her “massive flip-flops” on key issues.

“The so-called moderators barely asked the vice president about her major changes in position since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee,” Hannity noted, emphasizing the absence of follow-up questions on critical issues like late-term abortion restrictions. “Does she or does she not support any restrictions on late-term abortion? I’d still like to know,” he added.

In contrast, Hannity observed that former President Donald Trump faced relentless scrutiny from the moderators, including “constant follow-ups, fact-checks, and gotcha questions.” He claimed the moderators were excessively harsh on Trump while giving Harris a pass on several issues.

Hannity also accused the moderators, David Muir and Lindsay Davis, of failing to fact-check Harris effectively. “She lied about Project 25, the Very Fine People hoax in Charlottesville, Trump’s sales tax, and a supposed nationwide abortion ban he never supported,” Hannity said, listing instances where he believed Harris made false claims.

Hannity concluded his critique by alleging that the fact-checks were one-sided, with the moderators only scrutinizing Trump. “The fact-checks only went one way against Donald Trump,” he asserted.

However, CNN reported that in a previous debate on their network, both President Joe Biden and former President Trump made false and misleading claims. Trump was found to have made more than 30 false statements, while Biden was responsible for at least nine, highlighting that both candidates had been fact-checked for inaccuracies.
