Tristan Thompson’s relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner family appears to be strained at the moment. Despite having a surrogate child with Khloé Kardashian, the NBA player was revealed to have cheated on her, fathering a child with another woman – a revelation Khloé only found out about while filming their Hulu reality show, The Kardashians. So when Thompson ran into Kardashian’s sister Kendall Jenner at The Weeknd’s concert last Friday, it supposedly made for an awkward situation.
An eyewitness reported to ET that when The Weeknd performed at SoFi Stadium on Friday, September 2, both Kendall Jenner and Tristan Thompson were present on the guest platform near the stage with distinct groups of friends.
Thompson appeared to go toward the back of the auditorium after the event, while Jenner walked toward the front. According to the source, the two went past each other but did not acknowledge each other. Awkward!
The NBA player will always be linked to the Kardashians because he shares his daughter True and the new baby boy (whose name has yet to be revealed) with Khloé. Kris Jenner even admitted to sending her flowers for Mother’s Day. One would expect that because he and Kardashian have two children, Khloé’s sisters would remain amicable with her ex, as they seemed to mostly do following his other dalliances. However, this incident makes it look like her younger sister, at the very least, is not in a position to forgive and forget.
As per Cinemablend, the model partied alongside The Weeknd’s purported girlfriend Simi Khadra, her twin Haze, and their brother Fai, as well as Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend Camila Morrone, according to ET. Meanwhile, Tristan Thompson reportedly spent the performance texting and talking to an all-male entourage.
Tristan Thompson’s paternity issue was the third time he’d been (publicly) caught cheating. Their relationship was featured on The Kardashians, where the co-founder of Good American stated why she was willing to forgive his past misdeeds. She gushed about how beneficial therapy had been for the NBA player, even saying she planned to marry Thompson someday.
However, only weeks after their surrogate became pregnant with True Thompson’s younger sister, Khloé Kardashian learned that Maralee Nichols had given birth to Tristan’s baby boy, revealing that he had cheated on her on his 30th birthday – after Kardashian had lavished him with gifts. The two broke up (for good this time?), and the Strong Looks Better Naked author informed Kendall Jenner that she passed out because she was so angry about the situation.
Khloé Kardashian’s second kid was not disclosed until after the season finale of The Kardashians aired, so viewers are expected to get a closer look at the family’s newest member when the show returns to Hulu subscribers on Thursday, September 22.
